Conditions Treated

Panic Attacks

A panic attack is an intense feeling of fear. You may be feeling hot-cold sweaty with a churning stomach, leading some people to think that they may be having a heart attack.

Often we don't realise that our anxiety levels are starting to increase as this can happen gradually over a long time.

Panic attacks can happen when anxiety levels are very high. Triggers can often smell sounds and sights that the brain associated with the first panic attack. These can lead people to avoid social situations such as shopping and crowded places.

Hypnotherapy will help you lower your anxiety levels, putting you back in control. By teaching you how your brain works, puts you in control and using trancework to lower your anxiety levels. We use hypnotherapy and EFT tapping techniques to put you back in control.

Depression

The world health organisation states that globally, depression is the second biggest disability causing disease. It can affect people of all ages. For some reason, it seems to be more prevalent in women than in men.

Symptoms can include:

Lack of motivation
Becoming withdrawn
Negative thoughts and comments
Weight loss or gain
Sleeping issues

Depression can cause people to become withdrawn from friends and social activities. Depression can be a gradual process where the person suffering has an understanding that something is just not right. We understand that depression can feel like a dark cloud from which you can't seem to escape. However, using the solution-focused method depression is a very treatable condition.

Solution-focused hypnotherapy has a lower relapse rate than clients who rely just on antidepressants alone. With hypnotherapy, you can learn why you feel the way you do and can learn a safe and effective way to start enjoying life again.

Fears and Phobias

Fears and Phobias affect around 10 million people in the UK. Common phobias include spiders, flying and dentists. Some phobias you can just avoid throughout life but others, such as getting on a plane to enjoy your holiday, can't necessarily be avoided.

Fears and phobias don't have to be rational. They can have a severe and impacting effect on your life. Solution-focused hypnotherapy is an excellent way of helping to rewire the brain, allowing it to disconnect from its unhelpful thought patterns.

Often phobias can be caused by the brain's reaction to a traumatic or unpleasant event and can happen at any stage in life!

When the subconscious detects that there is a level of high anxiety, it will step in with a panic behaviour. It will pattern match this anxiety, and begin to associate an object or situation with an event or place with fear and panic.

Solution-focused hypnotherapy can help with particular phobias by using a specific technique that takes the emotion out of the situation. By creating positive thought patterns and using hypnotherapy and EFT tapping techniques to put you back in control. We restore the client's subconscious mind to become indifferent to the phobia. Phobias usually take between three and five sessions.

Anger

Anger is one of our most primitive emotions. It was useful in caveman times when there was a danger we needed to feel strong and defend ourselves. However, in modern society, this can be less useful. We've all seen that one person who appears to have completely lost it over nothing. Anger occurs as a result of anxiety. When our anxiety levels rise, and this can be a gradual process, our primitive mind steps in and causes us to be angry.

Anger scales can range from a person being mildly snappy and irritable to full-on physical violence.

Solution-focused hypnotherapy can help you understand how your brain works, and why we behave in the way that we do. It will enable you to deal with situations calmly. It will not be a case of having to control your anger anymore, in a short space of time, it just won't happen.

Smoking

Giving up smoking will be one of the best things you do to improve your health. Smoking and smoking-related illnesses account for a vast amount of worldwide deaths. Tobacco replacement marketing wants us to believe that it is difficult to give up and that the only way is to reach for one of their substitutes. Simply this is not true. Contrary to what you may have thought, experts agree that 90% of the addiction, actually is held within the mind.

A great way of understanding why you smoke is through hypnotherapy and how you can free yourself from this unwanted habit.

During your hypnotherapy session, we will support you through your journey. You will gain an understanding of how your mind works and what smoking does to the brain.

Giving up smoking does not require willpower it requires understanding and absolute clarity that you no longer wish to smoke. Hypnotherapy cannot overrule your conscious mind, but we can teach you how to break this behaviour pattern.

We do this by using hypnotherapy and EFT tapping techniques to put you back in control so if you have a craving you will know exactly how to deal with things in a positive way.

Some ex-smokers will tell you all about the cravings they've had since they gave up smoking. If you give up smoking the right way, it doesn't have to be like this and EFT tapping techniques will help with this. Some people are afraid they will gain massive amounts of weight. By understanding how your mind works, you can avoid these problems.

Hypnotherapy is a fast, effective way to get rid of this unwanted habit.

Anti-smoking is complete in three sessions. Sessions last between 60 to 90 minutes.
